Leaning Tower of Pisa

Walk around Arno River, Last Saturday of June you will get to see Gioco del Ponte Parade.
Transport -
By Car it is ~4 hours(one way).
Other option is Train and bus.
Tips: Take scenic route A12 to find stunning costal views.
All the attractions in Pisa are in close proximity. Hence avoid Taxi and explore on foot.
Engage your Kids: Tell the kids about Galileo and his contribution to the science. This is not his birthplace but He himself was doing many experiment from the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Parking and RestRooms: Parking lots are out side the historic sites. Ample parkings are available. You will find the restrooms near the parking lot lots
Ticket: Visiting the site is free as long as you are staying outside. To get inside the Tower or cathedral or other monuments you can need to buy different combination of ticket. Kids under 8 years old are not allowed to claim the tower.
Food: Outside the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you will find a lots of local stores and restaurants. Recommendation is delicious Mediterranean food like falafel, Hamas, kabab.
What to avoid:
Driving and parking Pisa’s Limited Traffic zones without permits.
Avoid engaging with unsolicited vendors and helper to buy ticket, parking.
